 Ritalin is a small and round tablet with “CIBA” stamped on one side comes in both white and pale yellow in color and stamped with a “34” 20 mg tablet, The generic name of the tablet is methylphenidate 

Description

Ritalin (methylphenidate) is also called central nervous system stimulant. It affects the chemicals in the mind and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control.

Ritalin is used to treat the attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

 

Side Effect

Tell your doctor right away if you have any one of these symptoms - chest pain, trouble breathing, feeling like you might pass out, hallucinations,  aggression, numbness, pain, cold feeling, penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 hours or longer (rare), excessive sweating, fast heart rate, loss of appetite, weight loss, dry mouth, nausea, stomach pain,headache etc

 

How long does Ritalin 20 Mg last ?

It doesn’t stay in the body for very long. It may last anywhere from 10 to 14 hours. A urine test might show methylphenidate use for up to 1 to tw2 days after someone takes it. This time period could be slightly longer if someone took an extended version of the drug. Ritalin wouldn’t show up in a blood test for more than 24 hours. Methylphenidate shows up much longer in a hair test. A person can test positive for methylphenidate in a hair test for up to 90 days.
